Welcome to Anime NebrasKon 2008!
We're still in the Union, and we're still kickin'. We're one of the smaller conventions in the midwest area, based at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, NE. Our goal, as always, is to become of the largest and most respected conventions in the Midwest.
But really, this is all just an elaborate front to create a convention where people feel at home.
We're not exclusive. We'll bring something for everyone, whether you're an artist, a hardcore anime fan, a cosplayer, a tabletop gamer or videogamer, or maybe just a regular joe looking for a crazy good time. We'll have all the standards. Cosplay contest, AMV contest, of course it's there. But we also every year aim for some new additions, new ideas, events that you don't normally see.
And as always, we're open to the community. We strive to keep ourselves open and receptive to everyone's ideas. Our greatest strength has always been our attendees. Without you, and all of your great questions and ideas, not only would we not exist, but we wouldn't be the kind of convention you can truly have fun at and look forward to returning to each year.
