Art Auction Contract

ANIME NEBRASKON 2013 ART AUCTION TERMS OF AGREEMENT

Important Note:

The artist must fill out a 2013 Art Auction application in order to have their artwork on display during the auction.

  Anime Nebraskon also reserves the right to review and approve any and all material submitted to the art auction for display.

Location of Anime Nebraskon 2013 Convention:

Dates of Convention:

Friday November 1st 2013 to Sunday November 3rd 2013.

Exhibit Space Rental Fee:

By submitting artwork to the Art Auction, the organizer will assess a fee of 10% of the final sale price on each piece of sold artwork.


How artwork is sold:

When submitting your artwork please have a starting bid in mind for your items.  You can either choose a starting price or a “buy it now” price for your artwork.  At the end of the convention (or by the time it receives so many bids), bidding on your items will end and we will sell your artwork.

Artist payment:

Upon the conclusion of Anime Nebraskon 2013 the artist will receive a check from the convention within a six to eight week period for all proceeds from the sale of their artwork minus the rental fees. The artist is encouraged, but is completely optional to donate a portion of their check to the listed charities of Anime Nebraskon.

Unsold Art:

The artist may retrieve their unsold artwork on Sunday, November 3rd  after 3:00 pm.  If the artist does not retrieve their artwork on the day listed above the artwork can be shipped back to the artist at their expense.

Submitting Artwork:

  Artwork can be submitted one of two ways.  You can either drop off your artwork the Friday of the convention, or you can send it early to:

Display Units:

Anime Nebraskon will provide space to display all submitted material in a gallery format in which the organizers will arrange the pieces. If a special display is required for the artwork the artist must notify and provide the organizer with the materials needed.

Display Requirements:

All two-dimensional art must be matted, framed, or designed for gallery hanging. All three-dimensional art (models or sculptures) must be able to stand freely, or rest on a stand or rack provided by the artist.

Art to be sold:

All pieces of art to be sold must be of the artist’s creation, no commercially produced items of any type will be permitted to be sold, unless such commercial product is the original creation of the Artist.

Art Content Requirements:

Artists are prohibited from submitting any and all Adult material to the Art Auction. Any items submitted to the art auction that can be interpreted as Adult Material will be rejected by the convention for display

The term “Adult Materials" is defined as any material, book, pamphlet, paper, writing, advertising, circular, print, picture, drawing, video, digital depiction or other representation, figure, or image on or of paper, film, digital media or other material , which contains nudity or sexually explicit images, audio or scenarios, OR any cast, instrument, toy or other article with a sexual or prurient primary intended use, which is inappropriate or legally prohibited for viewing, use and/or consumption by persons under the age of Eighteen (18).

Artist Alley Terms: The 2013 Anime Nebraskon Art Auction is also subject to any and all 2013 Anime Nebraskon Artist Alley terms and conditions.
